As part of King College Prep's annual tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. students participated in several community service projects throughout Chicago. Some students went to the Chicago Food Depository where they delivered bags of canned goods donated by King staff members and students. They also bagged 3,096 bags of Corn Flakes to be used at food pantried across the city. Others went to Envision Center for developmentally disabled adults. The students interacted with the adults doing crafts, playing sports, and singing. Others helped improve the facility.
