Found in a cornfield by kind, elderly farmers, Mr. Moon knew from the beginning that he was different. It wasn't the trucks he could lift by hand, or buildings he could leap. It wasn't even his ability to whistle show tunes while soaring through the sky. It was, rather, the strange marriage between a love of literature and working with high school kids that germinated within this Asian-American male. It just wasn't... normal. Mr. Moon was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and wanted to be an ice cream truck driver as a kid. When he's not grading, he enjoys reading; writing; performing and listening to music; camping; fishing; cooking; eating; watching the Cubs, Bears, and Bulls; and sleeping. But... he mostly grades and tries his darndest to get kids to read good and do other stuff good, too.
